How to Host a Champagne Party (New Years!!)

THE BIG FREEZE

Never open a bottle until it has been chilled . Placing it in the fridge for two to four hours should be sufficient.  I have, on occasions, put champagne straight in to the freezer but experts will tell you that is not a good idea so avoid if you can; it taints the contents of the bottle. If you are in a hurry then place the bottle in a bucket and surround it with a generous mix of ice and water. You can speed up the process by adding a handful of salt, which reduces the temperature of the ice. (I could give the chemical equation for this process in order for you to check it out, but why not just trust me? It works)

The Classic Christmas Present

| Print | E-mail

On Friday I had the pleasure of meeting with Taurayi from wineonline.co.zw - she reminded me of a friend of mine who introduced me to the whole drinking wine concept.  The first wine I ever tasted was the Bellingham Legacy - the shape of the bottle is brilliant and who needs to wrap such a great shape. I am hoping that we can work together to bring a great promotion to benefit you the restaurant goers and ofcourse add a bit of "Jingle Bellingham" to your christmas cheer.
