Welcome to The Zimbabwe Restaurant Guide

How about on Valentine’s Day this year, you treat your partner to a dinner consisting of Smoked Salmon Ice Cream, Venison Wellington, Rabbit Roulade, Pigeon Carpaccio or Peanut, Chilli and Coriander Galette?

If these names are unfamiliar to you but make you curious, why not try Emmanuel’s Restaurant at the Bronte Hotel on Baines Avenue? These starters are the beginning of the unique and amazing five course meal that the chef has prepared to tickle your taste buds on this very special evening.

In an interview with restaurant manager, Chiara Faccio, Eatout.co.zw established that Emmanuel’s is an upscale garden restaurant which, although located in the heart of the avenues, caters to clientele from as far as Borrowdale Brooke and the visitors to Harare.

Want to spoil someone this Valentines - Deli'cious that is usually closed in the evening is open for your pleasure. Call them to make a booking ...

This was the question that we posed on our facebook page and we got several responses. Here are some of them

James Balzer Yes, I dont like my cloths smelling like a smokers mouth the next morning. Sis ! Not to mention the obvious dangers of secondhand smoke to our lungs. Yuck Yuck Yuck !

Simbarashe Goldfinger Kunedzimwe different people different needs.that would be bad for business as a lot of Zimbos do smoke. Anyway a restaurant atmosphere is highly unlikely to ever result in a 'smokey shirt', that would happen at a club or pub (in my opinion)

Elizabeth de Ridder I don't think we need to become like Australia. Smokers are more fun anyway.

For those who would like to go out and socialise during the festive season, we have prepared a list of Coffee Shops and their operating hours.

Meet the winner of our first Glen Lorne Cellars sponsored competition – Christine Fergus of Harare.

Christine receives and regularly reads the Eatout e-newsletters. She says, “Thank you to EATOUT for their newsletters and website, which I have found informative and helpful when choosing somewhere to eatout. Thank you very much and keep up the good work”.

Having never won a competition in her life
